We know surrendering a pet is never easy. Our team is here to listen without judgment, explain your options, and walk with you every step of the way—always keeping your pet’s safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
Because our space is limited, please call or submit an email request before bringing your pet in. This helps us plan ahead and ensure the best care for every pet who comes through our doors.
Before you decide, it is worth reading the guide to keeping your pet, which sets out the help available if circumstances have changed. If you are weighing up where to take an animal, how this shelter differs from the county’s Pet Resource Center explains who does what.
