Open EventsEvery barnyard pet at Humane Society of Tampa Bay is vaccinated, dewormed, and ready for a lifetime of love.
Adoptions are same-day and first-come, first-served. We do not hold pets or process adoptions over the phone or online. Come in, meet our animals, and find the one who speaks to your heart.
Fees support lifesaving care.
Pigs, goats, donkeys, and chickens come to us less often than cats and dogs. Any barnyard animals currently available are listed below.
Submit the interest form with details on your property, fencing, shelter, and experience with farm animals. We adopt to pet homes only
We’ll reach out to discuss the animal’s needs, your space, and adoption fees, which are set individually to make sure it’s the right match.
Once approved, we’ll schedule a pickup time. Have secure shelter and appropriate transport ready before adoption day.
If you have recently adopted and your pet is not feeling well or has a medical concern, please contact our Animal Hospital Manager, Gretel Harvey, at (813) 252-2026.
We do not hold pets or complete adoptions via phone, social media, or email. Please visit us in person to meet and adopt.
